HOW IT WORKS

Here's exactly what happens, and when.

The annawebdesign workspace.

The process

01

Talk it through

usually 20–30 minutes

A call or email exchange to understand what your business does and what the site needs to achieve.

You supply:A rough idea of your business, and any examples of sites you like or don’t.

02

Fixed price, in writing

within 2 business days of step 1

You get a written scope and a fixed price based on the package that fits.

You supply:A yes, or questions — nothing is booked in until you’re happy with the scope.

03

Design and build

1–7 weeks depending on the package

I design the site, share it with you for feedback, then build it. You see progress, not just a finished reveal.

You supply:Content (text, photos, logo) and timely feedback at each review point — this is the stage most likely to move if content is delayed.

04

Live, and handed over

within a few days of final approval

The site goes live, and you get the code, the content, and a short walkthrough of how to make small edits yourself.

You supply:Final sign-off, and your domain/hosting access if it’s not already with me.

Process FAQ

What if I’m not ready with content yet?

That’s normal — tell me at step 2 and it’s factored into the timeline honestly, rather than pretending it won’t slip.

How involved do I need to be?

Most of the input happens at steps 1, 2, and the feedback points in step 3 — it’s not a full-time commitment, but timely replies keep things moving.

What happens after launch?

Nothing, unless you want it to — you own the site outright. A Care Plan is there if you’d rather not think about updates yourself.

See what each step costs before you commit to any of it.

Analytics

Google Analytics 4, so I can see which pages get used. Nothing loads until you switch this on.
