Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 September 2026
Who these terms are with
These terms are between you and annawebdesign, a sole-trader web design studio operated by Anna, trading as annawebdesign, 7 Carrick St, Mullinahone, Co. Tipperary, E41 E363, Ireland (support@annawebdesign.com). By using this site, placing an order, or engaging me for a project, you agree to these terms.
What's on offer
This site describes six fixed-price service lines (Website Design, Ecommerce, Landing Pages, Website Redesign, SEO Foundations, and Care Plans) at the prices published on /pricing/ at the time of your order. Prices are shown exclusive of VAT; VAT (currently 23%) is added at checkout. Larger or non-standard scope is quoted individually and isn't covered by the fixed package prices.
Placing an order
Adding a package to the cart and completing checkout is an offer to purchase, not an immediate contract. I confirm every order personally within 1 business day; the contract is formed once I confirm it and payment is arranged. The checkout on this site is a demonstration of the ordering flow — no card payment is taken through it. I'll contact you after checkout to arrange payment by bank transfer or invoice.
Project delivery
Turnaround times stated on each service and package page are estimates based on you providing the content, feedback, and access described in the process (see /process/) in reasonable time. Delays in providing content or feedback may extend the timeline; I'll tell you if that happens rather than let a deadline pass silently.
What you get
On completion and full payment, you own the code and content produced for your project, free to move it to any host or developer of your choice. This studio doesn't retain any ongoing licence fee or platform lock-in over completed work.
What isn't included
Each service page and package page states what is and isn't included in that price. Work outside that scope — including ongoing maintenance after launch unless covered by a Care Plan — is quoted and agreed separately before I carry it out.
Cancellation and refunds
See the full Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Your right to cancel (EU distance-selling)
If you are a consumer ordering from the EU, you generally have a 14-day right to cancel a distance contract without giving a reason. Where you ask me to begin work (for example, starting design or development) before that 14-day period ends, you expressly agree that this right is waived once the service has been fully performed, and you may lose the right to cancel, or become liable for the cost of work already carried out, if you cancel after work has begun. This is explained again, and confirmed by you, at the review step of checkout.
Liability
I provide services with reasonable care and skill. I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for issues arising from content, access, or information you provide that is inaccurate, delayed, or incomplete. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your own country of residence within the EU.
Online dispute resolution
If you are an EU consumer and a dispute can't be resolved directly, you can use the EU's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr to seek an out-of-court resolution.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the "last updated" date above will change; continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
