FAQ
The questions people actually ask before deciding.
Cost
How much does a website cost?
Every package has a published price: from €890 for a landing page, from €1,650 for a full site, from €3,600 for a shop. The full list is on /pricing/.
Is VAT included?
Prices shown are VAT-exclusive; VAT is added as its own line at checkout.
Are there hidden costs after the quote?
No. If scope changes mid-project, you’re told and it’s agreed before it affects the price — never added afterward.
What if my project doesn’t fit a package?
Get in touch — larger or unusual scope is quoted individually rather than squeezed into a package that doesn’t fit.
Timeline
How long does a project take?
From 1 week for a landing page up to around 7 weeks for a larger ecommerce build. Full ranges are on /process/.
What slows a project down?
Almost always late content or delayed feedback — the build itself moves at a predictable pace once I have what I need from you.
Can you work to a launch deadline?
Usually, if it’s realistic for the scope — raise it at the first call so it’s factored into the fixed price and timeline.
Ownership
Do I own the site afterward?
Yes — code, content, and domain are yours. There’s no platform lock-in and no ongoing fee just to keep your own site running.
Can I edit the site myself?
Yes, and I’ll show you how at handover for small edits. If you’d rather not, a Care Plan covers that instead.
What if I want to move to a different developer later?
You can — you own everything, so there’s nothing to migrate away from except a hosting account.
Hosting
Do you provide hosting?
I can point you to suitable hosting, or work with hosting you already have — either way, the account is in your name, not mine.
Is this a real, one-person business?
Yes. I design and build every site myself, from Mullinahone, Co. Tipperary. There’s no team behind the scenes — that’s a deliberate choice, not something to apologise for.
What if something breaks after launch?
If it’s within a Care Plan, it’s covered under the plan’s terms. Outside a plan, get in touch and I’ll quote the fix — most small fixes are quick and inexpensive.
